Gabriel Akatriel // The Deadly Priest

Character Name: Gabriel Akatriel
City of Residence: Rome, Italy
Seal/Angel/Kamui/Gemini/Dreamseer/Neutra
Special powers?: As his name comes from Christian Mythology, his powers are also derived from the same place. He controls the power of the holy spirit; the wounds he inflict typically look like they are from stigmata. He carries a cross, no longer than a foot, which can inflict burn wounds that look almost like they would in a movie if one was to use a cross on a vampire; the bottom of the cross also yeilds a blade, which extends with the press of a red gem on the crucifix. Yeah, he's pretty Holy for a badguy.
History: Gabriel was born in Rome, and raised in a very religious family. He is an only child, and as such he was sheltered by his family; his mother and father always warned him about the evils of the world, and kept him away from the "sins" of the others around him. From a young age, he believed that humankind was doomed to be sinners, and as sinners they would either be saved, or purified by the Almighty so that they may go to Heaven in peace. This started the crusade that first showed the manifest of his powers as an Angel, when at the age of fifteen, in his private school, he caught a young boy stealing. Knowing this to be a sin, he took the matters into his own hand instead of reporting it to one of the Sisters that ran the school; corning the theif, he said God would forgive him if he would give up his theiving ways, and ask for forgiveness. Unfortunately for both Gabriel and the theif, the theif declined, and a struggle broke out; a struggle which resulted in a stigmata-like death. The medical coroner stated the boy died of blood loss from an "unkown stab wound in the side, possibly by something such as a javelin or spear. However, such thing could not be possible in a school hallway." Gabriel continued his studies without many incidents, and became a priest. One night, not long after his twenty-third birthday, he had a vision; a vision where God spoke to him from Heaven, as asked him to purge mankind of its sins. This has been Gabriel's driving force for the past four years; purging the sins of humankind. The police see it as murder, but can't find any connection to the religiously themed deaths. As for the Angels; well... one would know that the purging of Mankind goes with their agenda.
Personality: Straight foreward and formal, due to his upbringing. He can be outgoing in a friendly manner, mostly due to his time as a priest. However, this does not mean he cannot, and does not brood.

If one were to ask me why I became a Priest, I would tell them that it was because I simply wished to help mankind purify itself in the eyes of God. Everytime the question is asked, I get a strange look.
... I certainly do pity the souls of those who question their purity before God's eyes. Humankind is nowhere near pure. They need the help of those chosen by God; yet few listen. No, not enough listen, and those who do not will be purified by my hands; that was what God wished of my life.
Things are happening in Rome, yet I cannot tell what they are. God's Children are moving here, yet I cannot find them. Why has the Almighty lord kept them hidden from my eyes? Could they not help me purify the unclean?
It is only a matter of time before I find them. And when I do, we shall work together. God's land shall once again be restored, and everything shall be right.
